1. Make sure to stay up-to-date on weather conditions as they will impact your drive to/from the mountain. Chains will be required during winter and when snowy conditions are present.
2. Big Bear is a beautiful, heavily wooded mountain area, which means the natural setting sometimes brings along critters like spiders or other little forest visitors. While we have preventative measures in place and it’s very unlikely you’ll see anything indoors, we like to be transparent so guests know what to expect when staying in a true mountain cabin experience.
